| Guests are invited to use and enjoy the guest parlor, where the walls have heard all the current events since the time when Victoria was Queen and John Tyler was President. This part of the Inn was the original Ice House of the Royal Brewing Company and dates to 1842. Sit beneath the converted gaslight fixtures, around the soapstone woodburning stove and exchange ideas and impressions or engage in a game of chess or darts. Board games, playing cards, stereo and cable television with VCR are also available for guests to use. This unique space is also where guests can help themselves to a soda, ice or microwave popcorn. Ice buckets, cork screws and wine glasses are available if you choose to bring a bottle of wine. |
